As is customary, the end of an EU presidency is celebrated
with a party, open to IPTS staff members and their partners.
The Hellenic Club of IPTS is pleased to announce the Greek
party to take place on the moonlight night of Friday June 13, extending
to the morning hours of Saturday 14th.
The event will be held at the magnificent Hacienda
Azahares compound <http://www.haciendaazahares.com/>,
situated at a cosy 10km from the centre of Seville, just outside the village of
Gines on the Aljarafe (see on map).
There will be plenty of Greek food (an aperitif of 6
dishes – including souvlaki – followed by a buffet of 7 main dishes and 3
desserts)
and
Greek wine (both white and red) as well as ouzo and tsipouro will be available,
recently imported from Greece
and
LIVE Greek music (a band of 3 professional musicians
will be arriving just for the occasion)
and
the IPTS band & choir will perform
and
Greek dancing (…)
and
followed by Barra Libre for 2 hours following the
main event.
In addition, there will be transportation offered from and to the Seville city center and IPTS building (buses for all those that do not want or are unable to) and a TV (in a separate space to the party main area) for those football lovers who wish to watch the World Cup match of the night while drinking ouzo and tasting Greek specialties.
